Today marks a major step in Witco’s development, as we have just acquired the workspace management software specialist SharingCloud. This is another step in establishing ourselves as the global leader in employee experience solutions. The new combined entity is now accounting for 120 headcounts and will continue to deliver value to 750+ clients.
For those who are not familiar with SharingCloud yet, this specialist in optimizing space usage anchored in the meeting rooms and space management market (namely with its RoomPad® hardware), then built its solution around it (with many advanced features, agnostic hardware solutions, and an Add-in) and beyond (with corporate digital signage and visitor self-check-in tablets among others).
The combination of these two players will provide a solution covering a very wide functional scope in optimizing space usage, from the centralizing web/mobile application to the meeting room management.
The acquisition will also allow us to further expand our international sales network even further through our now ca. 200 certified partners worldwide (resellers/integrators, tech partners and consulting firms) who specialize in optimizing space usage.
It’s not the first time we have played a part in the consolidation of the market for workspace management software. In fact, this deal comes just a few months after the takeover of District Technologies customers - a competing company in the UK market. In 2020, we also transitioned the clients of CoWork.io.
“We are delighted with this acquisition, which confirms our position as a leader in a rapidly evolving market, allowing us to expand our functional coverage and offer an end-to-end solution to our clients who want to provide user-friendly tools to their employees," says Éliane Lugassy
“We are happy to welcome SharingCloud in the Witco family. With this operation, we are combining two industry leaders and building a comprehensive suite of Smart Office solutions,” says Eric Aveillan, CEO of Naxicap Partners and investor in Witco alongside Eurazeo and Daphni.
